Fly screens catch everything except flies: dust, pollen, cobwebs and a grey film that the hoover only pushes further into the mesh. Taking them out to wash them is a job nobody gets round to.

The MeshSweep 2-in-1 Window Screen Cleaning Brush has a soft flannel pad on one side for screens and a flat scraper on the other for glass and window ledges. It works dry for dust and wet for grime, with the screen still in the frame.

The handle comes in sections that clip together for a total length of about 46 cm, with a 15 cm head. Choose yellow and blue or white and blue.

Why You'll Love It

🪟 Screens Stay In
Wipe the mesh where it is. No unclipping frames or carrying them to the bath.

🧽 Flannel For The Mesh
The soft pad lifts dust out of the fine weave instead of pressing it deeper, which is what a brush or cloth tends to do.

🔪 Scraper For The Rest
Flip it over to clear window tracks, sills and glass of dried splashes and dead insects.

💧 Dry Or Wet
Dry for the weekly dust, damp for pollen film and sticky marks after a wet spring.

📏 Reaches The Top
The 46 cm handle gets to the top of most window screens without a step stool.

🧩 Packs Away Small
The handle comes apart, so it fits in a cleaning cupboard or a drawer.

🚿 Rinse And Reuse
The pad rinses clean under the tap and dries quickly.

🛋️ Not Only Windows
The flannel side also lifts hair and fluff from upholstery, car seats and the dog's blanket.

🏡 Light Enough To Grab
Plastic and lightweight, so it is the tool you actually pick up for a quick wipe.

🧹 Saves Taking Screens Out
A quick wipe every couple of weeks means the big clean, with screens out on the patio, rarely needs doing.

Getting The Best Result

Go over the screen dry first to take off loose dust, then dampen the pad for anything that stays behind. Work from top to bottom so the dirt does not run onto clean mesh. The yellow or white connector pieces show where the handle sections join.

Rinse the pad after use and let it dry before putting it away. Use the scraper with light pressure on glass.
